had to drop a note about this DC-10 and a panel i got for it. haven't flown one of these old aircraft before but did some reserch and decided to download one, an SGA freeware. got an excellent DC-10 panel and DC-10 sounds that just blow me away! i actually feel like i'm in this jet. handles VERY well, slow on takeoff compared to other big jets but that makes it easier to keep up with. extremely smooth flying jet. i will have to do more test flights but as it is it could be an all time favorite and i don't mean giving the old girl credit so much for being a classic but for the way she flies. funny how different the old and new jets are but this one well, i like the way it flies better than the newer jets. maybe that's why it is a classic because of the way it flies. a side note, i downloaded a different panel than the one that came with it. many good dc10 panels out there to choose from. big thanks to the people who worked on this! william

hey bill, got 'em here at the avsim library. do a search there for the DC-10 under original aircraft or repaints, can't remember which, and look for the northwest DC-10. another search under DC-10 panels, look for david reed. same for sounds just choose the one you want. sounds are a long download on dialup though but i did it. you won't want to get out of this aircraft. william
