BE ADVISED: PORTIONS OF THE WEBSITE ARE STILL UNDER CONSTRUCTION AND MAY BE UNAVAILABLE.

Northern Air Cargo is an exclusively cargo airline and Alaska's first scheduled cargo airline to operate. NAC began operating in 1956 with 13 DC-6s.

Fast forward to 2015 and Northern Air Cargo still operates scheduled flights all over Alaska in their two 737-300s and three 737-200s.

Virtual Northern Air Cargo simulates the scheduled cargo operations of Northern Air Cargo. Here is a list of our scheduled destinations:

I have decided to simulate this airline simply because of how challenging and fun the flights can be. There are airports on our schedule whose whether conditions regularly can be 30-40 knot winds, cloud cover at 500 feet, visibility 1/4 of a mile. All the while, flying in an almost vintage 737-200 with no LNAV or VNAV, navigating airways, SIDs, and STARs VOR radial to radial.

Virtual Northern Air Cargo is a recent start-up. We are looking for dedicated pilots that would like to participate in a staff position. Staff positions are not necessarily time consuming. If you are interested and have a little bit of a free time, check us out.

If you are an experienced pilot looking for a new challenge in Alaska flying what is almost bush routes in a 737, check us out.
