CRT or LCD update

Well after doing some research and some hard thinking, with a deep breath and $400 dlls on my hand, I decided to go with LCD Samsung SyncMaster 930B 19", purchase price $320 after $70 rebate with the following specs:8ms Response Time700 Contrast Ratio300 BrightnessLet me tell you, I have never had such and experienced with FS9 like I did last night, usually I only flew with 2d panel, did not care much about VC with my previous monitor at res 1024x768, but now WOW I mean really WOW, at 1280x1024 is a totally new experience in VC mode I really liked it, and this monitor performance is top notch, no ghosting at all, everything looks sharper, more crisp.I do want to point out that at this res, you do need a fast video card, I have a x850xt and frames usually where hovering around 26-30 at KSEA with previous res 1023x768, now I get around 18-22 with all sliders to the right, this is sitting on runway. Still very very fluid (that's all I care about)If someone out there is at the same crossroad I was, I highly recomend going with LCD, you will not regret it, just make sure you get an LCD capable of doing a least 12ms or less response time, also I would suggest going with a 19" if you can afford it.Carlos XP Home SP2AMD XP 3200+ Corsair 2x512 Dual channelATI X850XTSamsung 19" LCD :)
