Can you add a GPS to a Virtual Cockpit?

Featured Replies

Hi Folks! Is it possible to add a GPS to a virtual cockpit? I'd like to add a Reality XP GPS to the dash of a plane that only has GPS as a pop-up. From what I have read, I suspect it only possible to REPLACE an existing GPS with a different GPS (better than default) or is this impression off the beam?Cheers,N.

Sure you can! Some panels are easier to tweak, though, because of their design. I recommend the Flight Sim Panel Studio as an aid, if you are going to do much panel tweaking. It is money well spent.

Thanks Steve. I'll follow up your recommendation!Cheers,N.

Also, once you get into FS Panel Studio, you can actually see panels from different planes and do some experimenting without using a lot of time or screwing up a good plane. There are lots of panel experts on this forum, and they are always helpful if they see a simmer with a problem.Have a good weekend - Steve
