Debris and Spray Effect Behind C90GTX P3D

Dirt and spray from behind the any P3D v3.1 aircraft makes a low spot view almost impossible to use. I'd like to remove this effect if possible.I've posted this question on other forums and have received one possible solution concerning // spay and dirt effects in the airplane file. Unfortunately it failed to work on my install.

Does anyone have other suggestions.
