September 25, 200520 yr Years ago I had that problem on a plane. How I fixed it ,I don't remember. I added to the default DC-3, a program called,DC-3, authentic Flight Model. Which is OK.But it gave me these unidentified objects chasing me. Finlay the big ques, HOW do I put them where they belong? Thanks in advance for any advise VIN :-help
September 25, 200520 yr Sounds like the Nav light position was off in the tweaked .cfg file. You'll need to edit the file and change the positions to where they were in the old file. If you saved the original you may be able to cut/paste the coordinates in. If you didn't save the file you will need to find another original copy or edit the coordinates until you get them where you want them.
September 26, 200520 yr Thanx Matt, The lights in all cfg. files read the same. While I could live with this,I would attempt to change the numbers for the ,navredm ,navgrem, navwhi, and beaconh. With so many numbers, I'm at a loss as to which value changes the position.Do I increase or decrease the number? What number? Thank you, Think I'll wait awhile. VIN
October 8, 200520 yr If you have the old cfg where the lights were in the proper position then its easy to sort it out! ( )=square brackets1. Backup the old cfg & the new .cfg & keep them in another folder2. Open the old .cfg and delete everything except the (lights) section3. Open the new .cfg and copy-paste everything into the old .cfg except the light section of course.4. Save the .cfgShould be all good now :)
October 8, 200520 yr I hope it works for you. I did the same thing when I was fiddling around with the .cfg for my Dash 8! Worked fine :)
