September 26, 200520 yr Just read this post, there's a simple screenshot (somehow I'm sure I never saw this before my last FS9 reinstall):http://forums.avsim.net/dcboard.php?az=sho..._id=21493&page=
September 27, 200520 yr As far as I know there is no fix to the problem shown in your screenshot (save for hand-editing cloud layers so that they are always above all ground features). This phenomenon happens because the clouds consist of a number of 2D bitmap images criss-crossed and layered in such a way that the illusion of a 3-dimensional cloud is realized. Because of this, whenever one of the many bitmaps in a cloud happen to cross a 3D object such as the ground, they get partially cut off. Part of the bitmap ends up inside the 3D object, which causes the seams you pointed out.I hope this at the very least explains why it happens :) It's not an indicator of a problem in your hardware or software settings.
