October 26, 200520 yr Does real-world weather override the calendar date in FS9? Tonight I set up a flight out of Albany, NY. Because I have the BEV summer textures, I chose DAY and SUMMER in the Flight Planner. The calendar showed August. Then I chose real-world weather. It's raining and snowing here in NY tonight and when I started the flight, it was raining as I taxied out and took off. When I got airborne I looked around and saw snow on the ground. It was really amazing that the weather was perfect for what it really is here tonight, but very odd that snow would be displayed in August. I'd never run into this before.I posted a couple of pics in the Screenshot Forum:http://forums.avsim.net/dcboard.php?az=sho...id=215884&page=Jim
October 26, 200520 yr Hi,No, the date/season part of FS04 does not "read" the time/date part of the weather data. That is what allows us to fly in Summer weather in the Winter.Hope this helps,JimActiveSky Sales and Supporthttp://www.hifisim.com/images/asv_dev_team.jpg http://www.hifisim.com/images/asv_proud_supporter.jpg
