Has anyone made the transition from a 970 to a 1080?

(Edit: I meant 1070 in the title!)

Hey,

Just wondering if anyone has made this change? I'm generally still very happy with my 970 but I do sometimes find myself at the texture size limit. Has anyone made this change, and was it worth it?

(I'm running at 1080p but will likely get a new monitor eventually to run at a higher res - not 4k though, so I don't think the 1080 is worth the price for me!)
