Lagspike / stutter when switching 2D panel views

Hello.
Lately, I've been getting some lag in FS2004. Specifically, some lagspikes when I'm switching to, and from cockpit and virtual cockpit views. It also occurs when I look left or right from my 2D cockpit. I am unsure why. Switching from spot view / tower view, and vise versa works totally fine, no lag at all.

 

I tried cleaning up my PC, and I tried lowering numerous settings, and everything. Nothing has changed.

Specs:
GTX 960
i7-4790
12Gb RAM

Chrome (Android)
  1. Tap the lock icon next to the address bar.
