External 4K video/audio recording device

This topic might be stretch in this forum, but I know there are several AVSIM members with video recording experience, so thought I'd test the waters for input.

I'm looking to expand my 4K recordings with these objectives:

1.  No resource/performance hit on my main FS PC

2.  Less compression (ShadowPlay 130 Mbps is highly compressed, I want better quality and higher bitrates upto 100-200MB/sec so that night/dusk capture is more accurate to source generated)

3.  Support for my 4K camera while "on the go" (outside, in real cockpits, in home tutorials, etc.)

4.  Support for additional audio in and XLR Microphone input

I'm looking at Atomos Shogun Inferno (due to be released this month) as a perfect all-in-one compact solution that I could mount close to me in my simPit and take out on the road with my 4K camera.  I have no experience with Atomos products, but their Shogun product "seems" to be exactly what I'm looking for (even more so if I do more training videos).

Thoughts/input appreciated.
