With apologies to Mr Shakespeare for the title...

I'll be ordering a new system shortly, and as I want to run 3 monitors running mostly Prepar3d, and the Group Views command to set up the views, and possibly using a 4th monitor for the popup gauges...my question is to those people running 3 or 4 monitor setups.

Would I be better with dual graphics cards running them in sli or not?

Originally I thought that 2 separate cards with 2 monitors running off each might be the best solution, but I've seen that someone here runs a triple Titan X setup and has them sli-ed, so I'm now completely clueless about what might be the advantages and disadvantages of single cards versus sli mode.

I'm thinking of getting either dual Gtx 1080s or dual Titan Xs.

Any advice will be much appreciated!
