Now, my FS does not save "load default" Flights

Featured Replies

Hi!My FS9 saves flights, but when i check the box "Load as default" FS loads the Seattle Cessna flight, does anyone know why it does this way?

Hi there. I have no idea why FS9 acts this way but it's quirky. If it's any help to you here's what I do to get saved flights up and running. Sort out plane and make a flight plan- VFR say, then carry on flying. To save the flight, or rather the position you are at press 'alt' and on 'flights' click 'save' and give the flight a name- 'winkles to Reno',click 'make this the default flight' and you go back to the plane.Click 'esc' and then finish flight. When you next start up FS9 you should have the plane there(!)and if you click fly now you will be back where you were but at the local (your) time and in order to get the flight Plan back you need to click 'alt', 'flight planner' and you will then be at the airport page.. click 'load' and find the VFR flight Plan you filed earlier. Click that and wait till it loads that and then click 'fly now', not 'find route' and when you check your kneepad your original flight should be there! One thing that troubles me is that the route doesn't change colour and the kneepad won't fill in the details of a flight until the very end if you break it up and fly it over two or three goes.Must stop rambling.Lemonadedrinker.
