FS9 going crazy

Featured Replies

I just recently reinstalled FS9. From a base install the first thing I did was load up ProjectAI so I was flying with some real airlines. I was starting to do some practice for the upcomming RTW race and someone suggested I try out the Avanti. I downloaded the freeware version from the forums and installed it.Whenever I try to select the Avanti it always gives me errors saying it can't load alot of the gauges. Though when the plane does finaly load the cockpit looks fine. It will usualy run well for maybe a minute or so and then either the computer will spontaniously restart or the rendered simulation will freeze. I say it that way because I can still press S and change views and I can HEAR myself going into my outside veiw and if I hit the ALT key the menu pops up. I can exit FS9 and everything returns to normal.Under normal curcumstances I would blame my Video Card or its Drivers but this ONLY happens with the Freeware Avanti.Any thoughts?
