December 8, 200520 yr In FS2002, when flying multiplayer, one could see the landing lights of any aircraft on approach. As far as I remember, this was the case with all aircraft. Here's an old shot showing what I mean. Excuse the red labels ...http://forums.avsim.net/user_files/135227.jpgAs far as I am aware, this is NOT the case in FS2004. Landing lights of other aircraft are not visible. There may be exceptions to the rule, but I have not found them.Anybody know why? Did MS drop the bulb on this one? Or are they hiding there somewhere, and I just don't know the trigger to enable them? All comments welcome. December 8, 200520 yr Check multiplayer options, and if not there, in FS9.cfg itself. I could have sworn this was available in FS2004. I did not fly MP often in FS2002 as it seemed less stable (I didn't know at the time why) than FS2004. It wasn't until I was well into FS2004 that I learned how important it was for everyone to synch their fps in an MP session. MP is a blast now, and it's a shame I don't get to enjoy it more often!-John
December 8, 200520 yr FLYing? It's cool. Trillions of birds and insects can't be wrong.News to me about FPS. But terrain settings should be the same or else you get "floaters and stuckers".Merry Christmas and a Survivable New Year
December 9, 200520 yr No landing lights visible to others players in FS2004. Never has been. It was my very first complaint about FS9. Guess there are only so many channels available to send packets and the landing lights channel got used up by prop rotation. MS just did the ole switch-a-roo as to what is visible in MP.SCOTT
