December 11, 200520 yr Anyone, please help.... For some reason, I have lost Administrative Rights to add or change files, but only in FS9. When I start FS9, immediately on opening screen, a box comes up that says "You do not have permission to install new files on this computer. Please have an administrator log on to complete the scenery installation." This problem began when I uninstalled Ultimate Terrain v1.00 and installed the latest version 1.21. Instead of just upgrading to current version (through patches), I thought it better to start over with a fresh version. It installed with no problem and works fine. But everytime I start FS9, I must click OK to close the above message box. Then FS9 loads. I also lost the ability to activate third party scenery because after I add it, I close FS9 and then when I restart it, no scenery indexes are generated. Just the same box appears on startup. I even tried to change something in my scenery config but when I go to save it I get a message that access is denied!! How does FS9 ONLY, think that I do not have administrative rights. Under User Accounts (My Computer), I am listed as Computer Administrator. I even did a system restore to a date prior to when the problem began with no luck. Please someone help me, I am lost!!
