December 13, 200520 yr Is the UT USA payware program something that would greatly supercede the BlueSphere texture sets I've used since they came out?I'm a little confused about what UT actually does, because I've read the product features of the new BEV sets, and the developer of that product says that it can be used along with UT...I assume that UT replaces the same ground textures that BlueSphere does, or, do I have it all wrong?I just want to make sure of what UT will do for me, because the screen shots on their site look pretty convincing...Scott
December 13, 200520 yr UT has its own road textures, but does not affect ground textures. If you have BlueSphere in place, it will not be affected, for the same reason that BEV will not be affected -- they are working on different aspects of the scenery.I would add that UT is great, and has great support.
December 13, 200520 yr UT, while containing some textures (mainly roads and nightlights) mostly just tells FS where to place textures in urban areas (and roads, rivers, railways everywhere in the coverage area). So it's complementary to replacement ground textures.
December 13, 200520 yr Thanks for the replies! I guess I'll give an investment in UT, because I've yet to run into someone that didn't like it...Scott
