Is there a way to restore default FS9 planes

Featured Replies

I goofed. I thought it would be great to clear out a lot of my excess aircraft from my aircraft folder and accidentally deleted the default b747-400 and b777 aircraft. Now several of my jets dont have jet sounds or panels. Is there a way to copy those aircraft off of the FS9 disks without installing the whole program over? I'm a knucklehead. Thanks

I think CD1 has it in one of the zip files

Once you have sorted out your problem the best way to handle things like this is to create another folder on your computer and call it "FS9 Planes" or something along those lines. Now just move planes in there (instead of deleting them). Then fly around in the sim...any problems just shunt them back!A sort of a virtual hangar if you will...I have deleted every default plane (except the Cessna) and have no problems (I use add-on panels) :)
