Help Installing freeware Eclipse 500 Version 3

Featured Replies

After reading a blurb about the Eclipse 500 in Popular Science I decided to see if there was a model of it here on AVSIM. I found it, installed it (to be best of my abilities) as per the text file included in the download. When selected the add-on give an error

Don't know if I can offer help, other than suggest you try my Eclipse instead, which is also in the library here. Do a search for "Eclipse" and "Cillis". It was a project I adopted from Dave Eckert and I think it models the Eclipse fairly well in terms of flight model, dimensions and looks. I have included a virtual cockpit/cabin as well in the model.-JohnEdit: Here's a link to my project:http://library.avsim.net/esearch.php?CatID...04ac&DLID=51560

John,Thank you for the suggestion. It turns out that the problem arose from me choosing Extract files instead of Extract ALL when decompressing the zip. The default XP Extract All put the files in the correct folders. I have now installed both versions of the Eclipse 500. Now for some fun flying a business jet. Thanks again, ted
