KMGE landings AI aircraft

Featured Replies

HI everyone, new to the board, but been slowly gathering planes from the file library. I have been downloading mostly military planes and scenery.I'm writing because of a problem I just discovered. I can see my REACH and LIFTER aircraft at KFFO, KCHS, etc. but I never saw any at DOBBINS AFB (KMGE). I checked and I have 2 AFCADs for the airport, stock and an extra one developed in January (source unknown.) The stock airport has zero (0) parking spaces, the modified one has 81 parking spaces for Mil Combat, Mil Cargo, Ramp Med, etc.So the first of two problems: why won't any planes show up at KMGE to take off? The parking has been checked through AFCAD Fault Finder and it reports no problems found. I have added extra parking on my own to no avail.Secondly, I added a small flightplan from KPDK (Peachtree) to Dobbins (KMGE) for a couple of helos and waited for them to arrive. Well they left KPDK, flew about 5 miles towards the airport (total distance is 11 nm), then proceeded to circle to either the left or right (depending on the runway for landing, either 11 or 29.) Next, they landed about 1.5 nm away at an altitude of about 2300 feet or about 1100 feet ABOVE THE GROUND!!! They then proceeded to taxi, however, their taxi maneuver was very slowly degrading their 'ground level', so they eventually would touch the ground. After they touch the ground, they proceed to taxi again all the way to the actual runway, sometimes 2 or 3 NM away. One of the aircraft, Aerospatiale, stops at the runway and just waits, eventually disappearing (timing out). Obviously, there is no parking for this aircraft. The other, UH60 Blackhawk, taxis over to the runway, turns onto the apron and proceeds to a parking spot, usually GA Ramp Med. It parks and then the next leg takes over. So it leaves the parking space, taxis out to the runway, but never moves again, eventually disappearing (timing out.)Well, I took a closer look at both AFCADs. The default (stock) shows the outer markers about 90 degrees off for both runways, so that explains why they are so far off when AI thinks they are landing. But I cannot delete the stock outer markers to fix this problem. Adding another NAVAID does not make any difference (at this time.)Secondly, if I ever could et any aircraft to appear at the airport, they will never take off, because for some reason (invisible runway??), they think they never leave the taxiway.I use Traffic Look to keep track of both Air and Ground traffic.Any help would be great, thanks, RobertPS-I have never experienced this sort of behaviour at any other airport, modified AFCAD or stock. In fact, I have added parking at some stock airports that had none, like Edwards AFB (KEDW), and traffic seems to work nornally there.PPS-I have attached a copy of the AFCAD (modified) with parking. The default AFCAD has NO parking.
