The Future of Flight Simulation

I’ve got to open by apologizing if this is going against any forum rules (incidentally I find there seems to be as many rules for flight sim forums as there are for IFR :wink: ).

 

The release of QOTS v3 (I think I have that right) marks the beginning of my return to flight simulation after a brief hiatus, and I’m interested to gain insight into the future of flight sims through the PMDG lens.

 

I remember several years ago Rob stating that there are very exciting things in store for the future of the community, and I’m wondering, insofar as anyone can reveal, what some of those things are.

 

(I’m aware of the suggestions of a 64 bit P3D perhaps sometime later this year, and the appearance of VR.)

 

Hope this generates some good, respectful discussion :).
