December 24, 200520 yr Hello. I was thinking of purchaseing ASV6. I have none of the prior versions of ASV. Cant stop hearing many great things about it! Before I take the leap. ;) I would like to ask one question. I noticed on the default fs9 weather. On a "clear day" It sets the visability to a far unrealistic level. Correct me if I am wrong. When it comes to vis in metars, must only go up to "10S/M" I belive. Meaning the vis is more then 10. How is this incorperated into asv? On a clear day will I still get the unrealistic visability on a clear day? Or is there a way to set ASV so it can only display a maximum range? Thanks, sorry about the stupid question.
December 24, 200520 yr Hmmm, there IS a max range area in the config system. And anyways, those who don't have AS are missing a VERY LARGE BOAT! !!!:DDo yourself a favor; Get it TODAY!
December 24, 200520 yr Hi,Thanks for your interest in our product! Yes, you can limit the maximum visibility to get rid of this "forever visibility".Hope this helps,JimActiveSky Sales and Supporthttp://www.hifisim.com/images/asv_dev_team.jpg http://www.hifisim.com/images/asv_proud_supporter.jpg
