MASSIVE lag

Hi guys 

I love chaseplane however recently an issue has caused me great frustration: after a while, chaseplane's CPU usage increases dramatically, so much so that I could no longer change views, the middle mouse button look does nothing but bring up the menu... This can be resolved by restarting but it gets old really quickly. The CPU usages goes up to and stays at at least 20% on my 6700K and P3D V3.4. Any ideas?
