January 5, 200620 yr Does anybody know if there is any scenery add-ons that cover the Northern and Northwestern parts of NJ? covering airports such as MMU, CDW, FWN, etc? Thanks!
January 5, 200620 yr Yes, there are many. John Loney has covered quite a few of these, and there are others. A quick search of the library will find them.John Loney's are at http://www.lfssd.netThomas

Though not an airport or a texture, you absolutely MUST get FREEflow's New England coastal replacement. This scenery will replace all water features except streams in the northeast from Philly north to Canada, east to the Atlantic and northeast to about Bar Harbor. I regulary flew between Philly and Long Island (even as far north as Montauk) and the package reproduces the actual coastline VERY well. If you do any real-world flying near Sandy Hook, that alone will prove it's worth the download. Oh, and it's free, too :) The link to John B. Loney's site is good, but I'll advise caution on two points: 1) the scenery is better than FS default but accuracy is iffy and 2) the installation process you have to go through to get it to work the way it's supposed to is nothing short of bizarre. His work is available here in the Avsim library. Give it a shot. Hopefully you'll have better luck with it than I did._________________________________________Quentin J. Parker, ASEL(Taurion
January 6, 200620 yr Works just fine for me. ????Any chance you are blocking it or something. I've tried the link on several computers here at home and it works on all of them. What does it say when you try to go there?I think a lot of his sceneries are on flightsim.com or simviation.Thomas
January 6, 200620 yr Yeah, I don't follow his installation instructions, but I am fairly comfortable with understanding what scenery files go where. And a lot of his initial sceneries use Lago's FSE, which I only have the freeware version installed. But, as Quentin noted, it's better than the default. And it's free, so I'm not complaining. I thank anyone who is willing to share their work. I don't bother with the traffic he provides as AI is too much of a load on my system so I keep it off. Let me know if you do get any of his stuff and are confused about how to install it.
