Active Camera / Fscamera problem

Featured Replies

Hello all: This is my first topic here. I have started it because I have a problem which can be explained the same way in Active Camera and Fscamera 1.5The problem is that they seem to be installed without problem, and they both become a part of my toolbar menu, but they don't connect with fs9, I mean the tower view doesn't get the values configured by any of these programs.I don't know if the cause of the problem if the same in both cases, but at least it appears very similar.Does anyone know how could I solve the problem, or where could I find the solution?. Thanks a lot, for I have been a lot of time trying to solve it.(If it's useful as a clue, when I try to Delete the fscamera via XP-Control Panel, to reinstall it again, it says that doesn't find the ST6UNST. file, although it is always created when it's installed.)And by the way, the fscamera 1.3 I can make it work as it seems it changes Tower view values in other way, but it doesn't happen the same with the other programs.Well, that's all, thank you and have a happy 2006.

What do you mean by "but they don't connect with fs9, I mean the tower view doesn't get the values configured by any of these programs."? I don't have FScamera but i do use Active Camera with no problem.Bud

Hello Bud, thanks for your interest. What I mean is simply that the views don't change. The term connect I use it because I know that fs9 has to take some visual parameters from any of those programs (Active Camera/Fscamera)and it actually calls them from the toolbar, but any change you make to those visual parameters, the fs9 doesn't take them because the views still remain all the same. That's why I say it. I think is a problem of connection between the two programms, but I don't know what to do about it.

I don't know about calling them from the toolbar but I know for my Active Camera I use CTRL+ALT+1 or (2 thru 9) to set a view and then CTRL+1 etc to use that view. Your view assignment keys may be different. Bud

Thanks again, but the problem is still the same. Although through the keyboard I didn't even manage to set any view, I can change the settings through the toolbar. The problem is that Flight Simulator just ignores those settings as the views always remain the same. I have searched for "fscamera" in this forum and I have found some other people with this problem. One of the people who have had problems say something about the same problem I have.So it seems to be something in my computer that creates an incompatibility between those programs and FS9. So anyway thanksand if you happen to know what could be I would appreciate it very much.
