I usually fly in/out of KMDW.. What I have noticed with downloading the recent snowy Chicago weather is since KCGX was dug up, there is no reporting station, so I take off in snow and get to the lake and I have 50 mile visability.. Plus doing some digging there is Coast Guard station on the lake just south of KMDW that also does not report..Is there a way to fix this, so there is something to report for these stations.. to keep the weather 'as real as it gets'??Thanks for any help..
