I have been having a problem with big planes both stock and freeware lagging. I discovered a fix for the problem accidently when i installed a plane without sound. Does anybody know how to fix this without degrading the sound quality. I've had FS9 since it came out and have never had the problem before. I have AC97 onboard audio.

Buy a decent sound card. I believe that you'd want one with a hardware buffer. They are not too expensive. R-
