February 6, 200620 yr When I fly across the Atlantic I like to see the odd passing ai, as well as to fly in formation with other traffic. This is really is cool! I remember once flying with about four other planes mid atlantic! This is good if you have updated plans, flying real time you can look them up using a flight tracker on another pc. (should you have a second), or call a friend simmer to do it for you. "ah he's off to JFK!" I think to my self. It adds to the realism of it I suppose.Because ai traffic fly direct GPS(I think), is there any part of the UK that is best to start the crossing at? At the moment london gets heathrow and Gatwick but also lines up well for France as well I think. If anyone understands what an earth I'm on about any advice is welcome!James
February 6, 200620 yr If you download and install the Flight Simulator Traffic Toolbox SDK from here http://www.microsoft.com/games/flightsimul...wnloads_sdk.asp you can see the departure and destination airports of AI aircraft either displayed on the aircraft label or by looking at the traffic explorer which shows departure and ETA times along with a lot of other info.
