Low oil pressure

Featured Replies

I am using Sky-Decks 737NG panel with the POSKY and Kittyhawk models. With the POSKY model I am using the supplied FDE and .cfg files and all the gauges seem to be working fine. However with the Kittyhawk model only after switching from the default FDE and .cfg to Mike Baumann's (it handles much better with the latter)I get a low oil pressure warning indication at idle and when using the autopilot with speed control and N1 falls below 40.I don't think it is a panel issue but FDE since it works fine with some but not with others. Any ideas what may be causing this? Thanks.

His airfile uses a much lower parameter for oil pressure, and thus the reason for the lights. Not much you can do except edit section 544 of the airfile, "oil pressure limit" to around 9500 PSI. You can use "AirEd" to edit the airfile. I'm not sure why he used such a low number for this.Regards,Kevin SparkuhlSkyDecks Panel Design
