Changed chronometer function?

Recommended Posts

Chrono displays are not output from NGX SDK. So cockpit builders have to write external scripts to make their chronos working. I wrote a SIOC script to simulate exactly, what the NGX chronos did.

But now with the new NGX version I found a change in the ET behaviour. Before ET started showing minutes and seconds and only after 00:59:59 it changed to display hours and minutes. Now it displays hours and minutes from start. This has two disadvantages:
- You can check the correct start of ET only after one minute (I don't have RUN and HLD indicators)
- ET cannot be used for measurements in seconds any more

Was there a reason to change this function? Which version corresponds to the real thing? Any explanation is most welcome. Thanks.
