Not sure where to post this so I'll try here first. I have purchased Radar Contact and have not really messed with it until this evening. I noticed that I have Active Radar when I loaded a fight. Does this come with RC4 ? Or did it come with some other add-on I purchased ? I know "What did you buy ?" My problem is it's always on top and no way I can find to shrink it. It's really a bother in the VC cockpit. Where can I find some docs on this ?Thanks for any help, Dan K

Hi Dan,Active Radar has been a part of Active Sky for a number of versions now.By default AR will open with Ctrl/F12. It should not automatically start when you load a flight.You can close AR through the Flights menu or the keystroke combination.You can get to the mini size by clicking on the red triangle in the lower left.You can drag either one around the screen and drop them anywhere.You can un-install AR by removing the activeradar.dll in your Modules folder.Edit: The docs are part of the Active Sky docs.Hope this helps,Jimhttp://www.hifisim.comhttp://sales.hifisim.com/pub-download/asv6...development.jpg http://sales.hifisim.com/pub-download/asv6-banner-proud.jpg

Thanks Jim, That's funny because I don't have ActiveSky. I'll have to look through my add-ons and find out what it came with. I didn't purchase it alone I know that. ummmm LOL Thanks for the info though at least I know how to hide it now.Dan

Hi Dan,Yes it does. Hsve you tried the mini size? I'll make this suggestion: FS04 is very good at remembering keystroke combinations, so what I do is QUICKLY use the Alt/F/A combination. No need to pause after each key or anything. I can do it so that FS doesn't even pause much! Jim, Thanks once again. Please don't get me wrong, i wasn't really complaining about the mod, I was just saying that in the VC cockpit, which I mainly fly in, it's in the way where ever i move it to. I was able to use the mini screen which helped somewhat. Also, just incase i missed it, are there docs in the ActiveSky manual on the use of active radar ?Thanks, Dan K
