March 26, 200620 yr Hi allMost of Central/Western Europe has switched to Daylight Savings Time this weekend. Therefore, what has been UTC+1 should be UTC+2 now in FS2004 which does not work for me. Is there a way to properly display UTC vs. actual daylight savings time ? The gap is annoying during online flights.ThanksJoerg
March 27, 200620 yr Hi,Start your default flight, resave it with the default box checked, exit FS04 and restart. Is the time correct then?Hope this helps,Jimhttp://www.hifisim.com/Active Sky V6 Development TeamActive Sky V6 Proud SupporterHiFi Beta TeamRadar Contact Supporter
March 27, 200620 yr Hi JimThanks a lot.Tried what you said but it did not help. My FS is still showingone hour difference between UTC and local time instead of 2 hours. In addition I noticed that my database is rebuilt every time I load FS now, this all started when my PC switched to daylight savings time.ThanksJoerg
March 27, 200620 yr Hi,Is the time and the time zone correct on your computer? Is FS04 set to use Ssytem Time?Hope this helps,Jimhttp://www.hifisim.com/Active Sky V6 Development TeamActive Sky V6 Proud SupporterHiFi Beta TeamRadar Contact Supporter
March 27, 200620 yr Hi JimYes, Time Zone is correct and FS is set to system time.BTW - ASV6 shows the correct values, just FS is giving me a hard time.I got rid of the constant database rebuilts in the meantime, a faulty entry in scenery.cfg was to blame.ThanksJoerg
March 27, 200620 yr Hi JimUpdate, it works.I had FS9 rebuild the FS9.cfg and repeated the steps you recommended. It works. Thanks for your great help - the ASV team rocks !ThanksJoerg
