I am using FS9 with UT & RC. Two questions:1. What is the best way to delete the five stock airlines in FS9? Unrealistic to have those fake airlines at our "fake" airports- heh,heh.2. I know the answer to this has been covered but I couldn't find it here. I ran into a situation where I was #5 for takeoff. An aircraft(Dash 8) took the runway but would not move/takeoff. I waited 20 minutes during which all incoming ac went around (so ATC knew the ac was on the runway) before giving up. The ac "stuck" on the rwy wouldn't depart even when there were no inbound flights.Thanks

Project AI (www.projectai.com) has a way to get rid of the default airline traffic. Or you could do what I've done and just download repaints that change them into real airlines.As for that Dash 8, I'd suspect a bad AFCAD file at that airport. Since you are using UT, you can safely remove the original traffic bgl file in your scenery library. This will remove the default aircraft from all airports and leave you with only the UT aircraft.You may also want to download the traffic SDK from the Microsoft FS9 website. This will give you a module that will allow you to while in the game delete any indivual AI aircraft that is causing you grief. The problem you had with the Dash 8 is not neccessarily an AFCAD problem. This kind of thing just happens and there is not much you can about it.

Removing the traffic BGL (or better yet, renaming it with a non .bgl extention) would remove the GA traffic too, not just the airliners. Not sure if UT includes GA traffic. PAI's tools can remove just the airline traffic, just the GA traffic, or both. (Though in the latter case renaming the BGL would be the easiest solution.)"Let me help you out. Ultimate Traffic does generate a traffic file with GA aircraft if you select the option to do this.

I simply deleted the planes. the only default planes I have left in my install are the GA planes and helis...I have Ultimate Traffic, btw...
