April 1, 200620 yr AI-Aardvark has released a 717 for AI traffic! Thank you guys! And my framerates are getting better as we speak! just got done installing the latest evolve ai repaints for the A320 as well. Excellent!!!
April 1, 200620 yr Cheers Al but she sneaked out a day or two early in one of World of AI packages which was a surprise to me when I installed it because I wasn't expecting it!!
April 1, 200620 yr makes sense why I didnt see it, though. No way am I going to let an autoinstaller mess with my AI files!
April 2, 200620 yr I was just reading that late last night. very cool! So the flaps go down only a few degrees and full flaps for landing? definately revolutionary. sorry to hear this is the last airplane on the line for aia. but hopefully this breakthrough will be used by new designers. Heres hoping we get an airbus makeover with the widebody fleet
April 3, 200620 yr The 717s use flap 10 for take off, and they go up 2000 feet above ground level. The landing flaps work the usual way.
April 4, 200620 yr Sorry to say that it's all true. AIA has retired from the FS Scene. But EVAI continues and I am sure they will produce some very exciting new projects.Cheers
April 4, 200620 yr This addressed to the AVSIM administrators. Just went to Aardvark's repaint pages and saw this notice referring to the uploading of B717 repaints:"NOTE: All the 717 repaints were uploaded to Avsim as well, but Avsim chose to reject all of them because they did not approve of the Contact Email address that we provided. We did not use a new Contact Email address for the 717, we used the same Contact Email address that we have used for every other Aardvark release since December 2002."What's that about??
