TrafficToolbox sdk sub-menus show black screen ?

Featured Replies

I am trying to use TrafficToolbox, but get no results, so I wonder if I am doing something wrong :(I've downloaded and installed the TrafficToolbox sdk from MS and moved it's dll into the modules directory. The tools > traffictoolbox menu displays, along with the sub menus for dumping airports, map, yada ..... but if I click on any of the sub menus, the program jumps out from the main screen to a totally blank, black screen with just the mouse pointer showing, and just sits there. Mouse is still operable in the blank screen, and I can get back to the screen I left by hitting the 'esc' key.I already created the traffic.bgl and moved it into the appropriate directory, so the DB's were generated, but still nothing happens. Checking task manager, it does indicate that the program I selected is running, but nothing shows on the screen.Do I need to move the *.dat files that were used to create the traffic.bgl file anywhere? I've left them in the sdk directory. Do I need some other Dll installed to get this to work ?FS9 has been patched to 9.1. I've tried this on 2 different computers with 2 different video cards (ATI 9600pro and PNY6600GT (nV)) and get the same results on both machines. Video drivers are the latest for each and am using dx9c.Has anyone else had this problem ?Aaarrrrggggg .... MayDay ! And thanks !Rob - af8o
