April 15, 200620 yr My AFCAD2 files currently reside in my Addon Scenery/Scenery folder. Is there an advantage to creating a separate folder ONLY for AFCADs, i.e. AFCAD2? Were I to do that, could I simply cut & paste, or move, the AFCADs from the current folder to the new one? Also, where best to place the new AFCAD folder? Thanks,Bob
April 15, 200620 yr I have a seperate folder for AFCADs, placed under the addon folder:+-Addon Scenery|--Afcad|---SceneryYou must add the afcad folder to the scenery database in FS. After that, any afcad file can be moved to the sceneryfolder that's part of the new afcad folder. Afcad files that are added later are automatically loaded by FS. I have named my afcad files like AF2_EHAM_default.bgl or AF2_EHAM_nl2000 so that I can recognise whether they are for a default airport or an addon scenery. That way, I can easily find them if for example I decide to remove the addon scenery. If I have multiple afcad files for the same airport, I add .disabled to the files I don't want to use.Allard Flightsim rig: CPU: AMD 5900x | Mobo: MSI X570 MEG Unify | RAM: 32GB G.Skill Trident Z Neo | GPU: Gigabyte RTX 3090 | Storage: M.2 (2 & 4 TB) | PSU: Corsair RM850x | Case: Fractal Define 7 XL Display: Acer Predator x34 3440x1440 | Speakers: Logitech Z906 Controllers: Fulcrum One Yoke | MFG Crosswind v2 pedals | Honeycomb Bravo Quadrant |Thrustmaster TCA Quadrant | Stream Deck XL & Plus | TrackIR 5 Tobii eye tracking
