April 24, 200620 yr From the GPS 500 manual:Course to steer (CTS) - Recommended direction to steer in order to reduce course error or stay on course. Provides the most efficient heading to get back to the desired course and proceed along your flight plan.Vertical speed required (VSR) - The vertical speed needed to descend/climb from current position and alt. to a defined target position and alt, based upon your current ground speed.Track angle error (TKE) - The angle difference between the desired track and your current track. An arrow shows the proper direction to turn to reduce TKE to zero.Cross Track error (XTK) - The distance you are off a desired course in either direction, left or right.-John
