All my traffic is missing............how come?

Featured Replies

I cannot find the answer so I hope someone may be able to help me find my missing aircraft. I have FS 2002 & 2004 & I have noticed that all the traffic that used be flying around or at airport aprons or runways, are missing. I am flying in totally deserted skies. All the boxes are ticked for labels & traffic slders are set for 100 pc but I see nothing. I have searched files & see the traffic030528 file in 2004 has utb instead of bgl. 2002 doesn't have any traffic file in scenery/world/scenery. I've not changed anything so I am at a loss to understand how it has happened. I'd like them back but how?If someone can help me I'd be grateful! Thanks,Terry.

you must have installed something which re-named your default traffic's extension to .utb (did you install Ultimate Traffic? = ultimate.traffic.backup = utb?). you can always just re-name the .utb to .bgl and your default traffic will return to normal.if you did install UT, you must run its software and compile a new traffic bgl. and i have no clue about your fs2002...-fz

Hi there & thanks.I did start with Ultimate Traffic but it was daunting so I left off until I read it up, but that was ages ago!HOWEVER - I have just renamed that file from utb to bgl & BINGO all the aircraft have returned. It's wonderful having to wait my turn behind 3 big jets waiting to take off!!Thanks for your help - I am very grateful to you.If I cannot fix 2002 I'll reinstall it for the boys.Terry.
