If I create a number of exclude files to eliminate many individual buildings and objects around one particular airport (or many airports) will this slow down the sim in any way? The fact is I recently installed Ground Environment and, although a nice add-on, it places many of the buildings in the wrong areas blocking taxiways and more importantly at the very ends of runways. This question would be best asked in the Scenery Design forum.My inexpert view is that exclude files are not large, and I would think that any scenery objects excluded by them would help speed up the sim if anything.I would use them anyway if they are the easiest way to get rid of the problems you have.
