Featured Replies

Hi Got a really annoying problem in that FS9 keeps crashing everytime im on it. Even if i shut it down i get an error message asking if i want to send a report and a box to tick if i want to restart it. I checked the error message and this is what i gotThe description for Event ID ( 1000 ) in Source ( Microsoft Flight Simulator 9.0 ) cannot be found. The local computer may not have the necessary registry information or message DLL files to display messages from a remote computer. You may be able to use the /AUXSOURCE= flag to retrieve this description; see Help and Support for details. The following information is part of the event: fs9.exe, 9.0.0.30612, pmdgoptions.dll, 1.0.3.1, 00058789.Could anyone please help me???????Cheers Steve

Could be many things.Have tou done a registry check, and clean?RE-installed, having removed program completely?Have you done the 'fix' from windows to 'reset defaults'

Yeah I've removed it before and also when i wiped my hardrive clean. How do i do the registry check??? or why would this effect it having uninstalled it??Thanks Steve

I would do a search on the PMDG forum for a fix using "pmdgoptions.dll" as your keyword. This has been discussed frequently on this forum and I believe your error is caused by an incorrectly installed product. Hope this helps.JimYoung
