Missing Autogen Textures

I was someone could with a CTD (the black screen of death with the subsequent do you want to restart FS9) when flying over Russia's Asia territory.I have 2 navaids where the CTD occurs. I used SysInternals FileMon utility to try and identify any bad .BGL or texture files. FileMon logged many autogen textures in the Scenery/World folder as not being found just before the CTD.Can missing textures cause a CTD?Thanks in advance.
