About two weeks ago I began to see this message intermittently:http://forums.avsim.net/user_files/150622.jpgAfter the message displays, the screen goes black and I usually must resort to Ctrl+Alt+Del to exit from FS9. It usually happens when FS9 has been running and I try to select a new flight. If I start FS from the opening screen, I can select any flight without a problem or I can start FS9 with any flight set as the defaut without any problem. This computer was new in February and I'm still loading addons so I assumed it was one of those. I unistalled the ones that I had added just before the problem started and I renamed the FS9.cfg file and let the system build a new one. So far the problem is still with me.Has anyone seen this before? If so, did you get it fixsd? If so, how? Thanks in advance. R-

Ron,it could be that a "wrong" .dll came along with some add-on. check for language.dll. see what version it is. Sometimes thats the culprit.

Thanks Davis, I'll look into it. R-

Just an update. Copying Language.dll from CD1, seems to have fixed the problem but I could see nothing wrong with the original copy on my C: drive. It was the correct size and had the correct last modified date. R-

Good to hear its working for you, well yes probally same size and all just not made for the english version of FS :)Regards,

What operating system are you using? The image you pasted suggests Windows 98/ME. If that is the case you no doubt have a memory management issue. Those versions of Windows really cant handle todays complex games.
