Multiple flight plans and AITM

Featured Replies

I've recently updated my AI flight plans, a mix of PAI, WOAI and individual plans. I've now got a lot of duplicate flights and aircraft, a problem I've never had before when I've added plans. I've downloaded and installed the most recent version of AITM, but the analyze flight plans function won't run. The 'analyze flight plans' line doesn't highlight. I'm obviously not doing something right and would appreciate any advice. Thanks,Bruce L.

Hi,Make sure you are using the V2 icon in AITM to start it up. It says AITM2 on the icon. Create a shortcut to that .exe to run this with FS2004.Hope this helps,Jimhttp://www.hifisim.com/Active Sky V6 Development TeamActive Sky V6 Proud SupporterHiFi Beta TeamRadar Contact Supporter

Hi Jim,Thanks for responding to my post. I got it just before leaving on vacation, so this is the first chance I've had to get back to you. I had done as you suggested, except for the shortcut, prior to posting my request. I tried again, but still no success. I had clicked the v2 icon to run. The AITM screen comes up and I use the decompile function for my flight plans, but when I click on tools, the analyze function and about half the others do not highlight. Some other choices, like compile and decompile do highlight. I have not been able to find anything in the help menu to address this, but I will recheck. As I said, I must be doing something wrong, altough I used to use AITM in FS2002 and had no problems with it. Any further assistance is greatly appreciated. Thanks again,Bruce

Hi,I bet you left out a step: Did you go to the Menu bar/Flight Simulator and switch to FS2004?I just did this and loaded a flightplan and all the options were able to be choosen.Hope this helps,Jimhttp://www.hifisim.com/Active Sky V6 Development Team Active Sky V6 Proud SupporterHiFi Beta TeamRadar Contact Supporter: http://www.jdtllc.com/AirSource Member: http://www.air-source.us/FSEconomy Member:http://dot.kelder.net:8080/fseconomy/

In addition to everything JIm said, I ran across a utility last night that looks promising. it is called yRoute and is freeware. I downloaded it but haven't had a chance to use it. Check here http://www.spacejock.com/yRoute.html AITM v2 is a great utility. I wonder when Thomas is going to move it beyond alpha testing.
