Throttle Problem

Featured Replies

Hi, I started up my Eaglesoft Cirrus SR22 today and applied full power for take off, but it just didn't seem to want to move forward, i pressed F4 numerous times and then manually advanced the throttle forward with my mouse but the engine would not power up. I shut down FS restarted it and chose a Baron 58, the Dreemfleet version, and I had the same problem, the throttle was at max, but my RPM was no where near max. I checked the properties of the Joystick, a Saitek X52 and it showed no problems. I then chose a PSS A319 and pushed the throttle to Max power, and it worked without a glitch. I then went back to the Baron 58 and this time it worked fine, I applied full power and the engine readouts were where they should be. I cannot seem to fathom why this would happen, it worked yesterday!!

Probably saved a previous flight with autothrottle engaged. Allcott
