CaptainSim 757 - Tomato Shade

Featured Replies

Hi Guys,

I am trying to get a profile for the CS 757, has anyone found one or made one? I was going to try and make one myself however the Tomato Shade Reflections Maker doesn't list the aircraft model.

Thanks in advance 🙂

TomatoShade has problems reading it because CS is using a different way of linking the 'model' folder in SimObjects to the parent CS folder where the MDL files are actually placed.

Instead of using the typical '../../folder.xyz' in the model.cfg, CS has used '..../..../folder.xyz'. I'd mentioned it to the developer and he said he'll look into it but a temporary workaround for TomatoShade to read it would be to copy the MDL files from the parent CS folder and paste them inside the 'model' folder in the CS SimObjects folder. Make sure to modify the model.cfg to point to the new location as well so the aircraft functions in sim. Running DynamicReflectionMaker after making this change seems to pick up on the CS model just fine.

Hopefully, the next update to TomatoShade should take care of this problem. For the reflection profile, I found one here .
