Any Problems with Cloud9 Addon-Manager?

Featured Replies

I very recently discovered that something with my fs9 installation or addons thereof is incompatible with Cloud9's unique Addon-Manager (bglman.dll). It causes my FS9 to spontaneously CTD or freeze when I pull up the FS9 Load Flight dialoge box. I've queried the Cloud9 forum about this, but decided to ask around for other similar experiences. I've even swapped out every add-on .dll file I have from other addons with no other luck. Curiously, I can run the Add-on manager on a fresh new copy of FS9, patched and all, but again, no luck in finding another add-on that it may be clashing with.Randy Jura, KPDX

Cloud9 did a great job of tracking down a very arcane and hard to find problem in their 1.24 addon-manager. It will/is fixed in version 1.25, soon to be released.Randy Jura, KPDX

Hi Randy,I have many of Cloud 9's addons to include the recent release of KDCA. They provide excellent products and support. The bglman.dll in my Module folder is version 1.23 dated July 17th which I thought was the latest but see you found out it has been upgraded to 1.24 and soon 1.25. I have had very rare occasions of FS9 closing suddenly when loading a flight plan (Create a Flight screen). There is no error msg and nothing in the event viewer concerning the crash. I restart FS9 and everything works great. Like I said, these are very rare but may be caused by the Cloud 9 Addon Manager. I know there are many, many causes for FS9 crashes and I'll just add this one to my list. Good find!Best regards,JimYoung
