August 1, 200619 yr http://img120.imageshack.us/img120/6372/untitledlb6.jpgyes. it's the blurries once again. As you probably can see, I have a sizeable clear texture radius, then it abruptly stops. There's always a cross-like pattern. I'm using a custom detail1.bmp from the RealityPack addon, but I also get the same effect using the default detail1.bmp. I was getting smooth transitional textures from clear to a slight blur until I installed a GE Pro. I tried reverting to the default textures to see if there was a difference. My system:A64 3700+ (O/C to 2.86Ghz)1Gb pc3200 (@ DDR408)XFX geforce 7900GT 256Mb ExtremeWD 250Gb SATAII 16mbAnd I've tried all the tweaks that I could find using the search function here. I've also tried lowering my settings (eliminating Autogen/AI traffic/limiting frame rate to 18fps)[TERRAIN]TERRAIN_ERROR_FACTOR=100.000000TERRAIN_MIN_DEM_AREA=30.000000TERRAIN_MAX_DEM_AREA=100.000000TERRAIN_MAX_VERTEX_LEVEL=21TERRAIN_TEXTURE_SIZE_EXP=8TERRAIN_AUTOGEN_DENSITY=5TERRAIN_USE_GRADIENT_MAP=1TERRAIN_EXTENDED_TEXTURES=1TERRAIN_DEFAULT_RADIUS=9.900000TERRAIN_EXTENDED_RADIUS=9.900000TERRAIN_EXTENDED_LEVELS=8TEXTURE_BANDWIDTH_MULT=400The textures DO load seconds before I go on top of them. So I guess it's not a case of the dynamic blurries. I'm just a little annoyed by this "clarity cross" that follows my plane.Just wondering if anyone has any input on this/
