August 2, 200619 yr Hi all. For those of you interested more broadly in real world flying, I just discovered a source of free avaiation podcasts. You subscribe using Itunes and a new one appears every thursday. The archive of old ones is there too. If you don't use an ipod you can still lsten on your PC and burn a CD. They are about 7-10 minutes long. I had a long drive yesterday and burned CD full of them for the road They are funky mix of instruction, NTSB reports, interveiws, and even a little aviation music. I learned about them from AOPA Flight Training magazine. The web site is called The Finer Points (of flying) and the url is: http://www.thefinerpoints.net/. Oriented toward pilots and student pilots rather than airline/industry enthusiasts etc.
