Image problem in GPS unit........

At times the image in the GPS unit is reversed. In other words, mountains look like holes in the ground and valleys look like ridges. It is not constant but seems to occur about half the time. Also, it is not limited to any particular aircraft. Its not a huge problem, but I had rather have it appear correctly all the time. Has anyone had this occur and know of a fix for it?
