Uninstalling REX

Featured Replies

Hello! I have a question about my REX installation. I am a happy owner of REX products: SkyForce, Texture Direct and Soft Clouds. If I understand correctly SkyForce has it's own cloud textures so having Soft Clouds installed does not have much sense. But I installed it long before SkyForce was released so I still keep it. Texture Direct for all the other textures.

My question is - after installing Soft Clouds and Texture Direct (let's say into C:\temp directory), running it and selecting and installing all the textures into Preapr3d folder (what is I believe SC and TD are doing), can I safely remove all the SC and TD files from my disk (from C:\temp dir)? Of course assuming I don't want to change any textures/themes in the future and I am happy with all the textures I already replaced this single time. It's not like all these sets that are installed are going to be used by the game, is it? All the textures are installed into Preapr3d directory, so there is no point in keeping the SC+TD directory?

And we have the opposite situation with SkyForce - because it's injecting the textures 'on the fly' I believe I can't delete the original directory where it got installed, is that right?

Thanks for your help!
